Matt Vogel is the Professional Day Chair for the FEI KC Board. He joined FEI KC in 2019 to network and build relationships with other finance professionals. He believes the vast diversity of the members and strategic partners is a great way to gain knowledge and valuable long-term relationships.
Matt is the Treasurer for the Lawrence Paper Company in Lawrence, Kansas. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with double major in Accounting and Management Information Systems and an MBA from Pittsburgh State University. He obtained his CPA license while working in the manufacturing industry where he has spent his entire career.
Matt has been fortunate to work in both family-owned businesses and for a larger public company. He attributes these different working environments to his development as a finance professional.
Matt currently resides in Lawrence, Kansas with his wife Michelle. He enjoys traveling with his wife, working out, hiking, Kansas City’s professional teams, and Kansas State athletics.
