FEI KC Members and Strategic Partners gathered December 10 for a festive evening at the National World War I Museum and Memorial. Senior VP of the Museum, Michael House shared the story of how the 1929 Kansas City Community raised the funds for the Museum and Memorial in 10 days. That patriotic can-do spirit continues today in the Kansas City overlooked by the Liberty Memorial Tower.
Attendees learned about the war that changed the world forever as they walked through the main exhibit hall throughout the evening.
FEI KC took this opportunity to raise funds for Veterans Community Project. Members and Strategic Partners made donations prior to and during the evening to assist this worthy organization provide housing and support services to veterans in Kansas City.
