Mike Brown, Chief Executive Office of Frontier Justice shared tonight: “Frontier Justice – A Journey from Civilized Business to the Outpost of Entrepreneurialism.” He focused on the business and personal challenges of moving from a large, well established corporation to a start up environment: capital acquisition, risk management, operational management, banking relationships, accounting and finance related issues, resource management and business volatility, stress, lack of resources, working with family and the risk/reward relationship of wagering all your assets to achieve a dream.
Mike and Bren Brown opened Frontier Justice in 2015 following his early retirement from a successful 25-year career in the banking and financial industry, and her successful non-profit career that focused on women and children. They developed Frontier Justice as a premier firearms retailer that delivers a unique faith-based and family-focused entertainment and destination retail experience, centered on the shooting sports and the authentic American lifestyle. Frontier Justice was developed with the goal of expansion across the United States, with a geographical focus on the Midwest and Central regions. Their second location opened at the end of 2017 in Kansas City, Kansas, with future development on the near horizon.
