Jan Katterhenry serves as the National Headquarters Liaison FEI KC Board. She joined FEI just over 25 years ago. Jan says, “FEI has provided great resources and materials when I needed them in my career. Also, the connections I have been made have helped me professionally and friendships have been developed.”
Jan is the CFO/Interim President at BV Science, Inc. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from Kansas State University and a Master of Science, Accounting from the University of Missouri KC. Jan stated she chose a career in finance because “I enjoyed math and it was one of my stronger subjects. Also, I was told a degree in finance or accounting would be helpful in almost any job or career.”
Jan enjoys golf, hiking, travel, and reading. She serves on several committees at church. Her favorite sports teams are Sporting KC, Chiefs, Royals, and K State.
Jan and her husband call Lenexa home. They have 2 daughters, 1 son, two grandsons, and a dog.
