Jennifer serves as the Treasurer for FEI KC Board. She is a new member to FEI (2022) and joined for the networking with other finance professionals as well as the learning opportunities they provide. She is excited to get involved and learn more about FEI throughout 2023.
Jennifer has over 20 years of progressive finance and accounting positions including CFO, VP of Finance, and Director of Finance. She has had the honor to work for some incredible KC companies including the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Cerner, DST Output, Pioneer Services, UMB, and most recently she served as CFO of National Advisors Trust.
After graduating from MWSU with a degree in Business Administration and Finance, she had some incredible mentors that encouraged her to obtain her Masters in Economics and a PhD in Economics (ABD) both at UMKC. Jennifer loves numbers, so finance and economics was a natural fit for her!
Jennifer resides in a 123-year-old home in Hyde Park that has become a labor of love. She enjoys traveling and is a die-hard Chiefs fan where she’s had season tickets for over 20 years – yes even in 2012 when they were 2-14 she was going to games. She also enjoys Sporting KC and has been a season ticket member since 2018.
Philanthropy is very important to Jennifer. She currently serves on several Boards including President of School of Economics, Past-President of Women United, Big Brothers Big Sisters Ambassador Board, and a Board member of Acting out Against Cancer.
